Sometimes we have advance awareness that time is winding down. This can be a very tender, emotional time that may bring a sense of urgency - a last chance to express oneself. Help is available if you feel ready to share your stories, create gifts or compose legacy letters for your loved ones.

Stories are best told with a warm caring human to receive them. You will experience, in real time - the interviewer's natural curiosity, admiration, awe, and empathy. There may be shared laughter - or shared tears. It's real - and you get to decide from moment-to-moment where you'd like the conversation to go.
Life story Interviews and related enrichment programs - can be featured, meaningful offerings for individuals living in Retirement, Independent or Assisted Living Communities. Interview Programs:
Focussed interviews are experienced as meaningful and validating - highlighting one's capacity for love, care, strength and resilience. If converted into spotlight 'features' - they are a wonderful way to celebrate and pay tribute to residents.
Reminiscing Groups and Social/ Peer Supports:
For communities seeking more creative options for social and peer support - I facilitate a variety of creative engagement activities (including small group sessions). Drawing from a deep reservoir of rich life themes and questions - invitations to reflect and reminisce can be enhanced through the provision of physical, tangible objects, photos or sensory prompts. While borrowing the well-researched benefits of reminiscence therapy, I also maximize value by drawing upon my professional background in synergetic play, sand tray and art therapy.
